Examines mattresses and box springs for defects prior to
packaging: Isnpects surfaces for puckers, gathers, and irregular
corners. Measures length and width of mattress and box spirng to
ensure conformity with specifications, using tape measure.
Cuts
loose thraeds and fabric ends from mattresses meeting standards
and removes defective ones from conveyor.
May use water on
surfaces to shrink puckers, usnig spray gun.
